BBC One Business Today Feng Shui Forecasts
As Chinese businesses like TikTok, Temu and Alibaba become as big as YouTube, Amazon and eBay, more and more business leaders are looking to the Chinese for inspiration. In 2024’s statistics, it is recorded that there are 56 million millionaires around the world, and over 6 million of them – more than 1 in every 10 – is from China. If we add in other countries like Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia where there are more millionaires of Chinese ancestry, this is a really significant number.
What is it that is enabling them to power such staggering economic growth and expansion?
What values and systems to they use to make effective business decisions?
One thing is well known -many Asian business successes are avid users of Feng Shui, Bazi, Ze Ri and Chinese Metaphysics together with the wider Taoist and Buddhist arts. BBC One’s News’ flagship morning finance show, Business Today, wanted to explore this and invited our Master Angela Ang to join them.
It is no secret that out of the 12 signs of the Chinese zodiac, the snake is not one of the heroes. Some of the zodiac are bold leaders, like the Tiger and Dragon. Others are hardworking like the Ox and the Dog. Others like the Goat, Pig and Rooster benefit humans. The snake, however, has no such loyalties and is not a warm blooded creature so many worry what will happen as it crosses their path.
The snake has incredible sensory powers beyond our own abilities, yet it is unsentimental – does this represent AI taking over?
The snake frequently travels in search of prey, yet unlike its warm blooded contemporaries, it cannot move in a straight line – does this mean we are due for a year of ups and downs?
Snakes do not care for their parents, nor do they nurture their offspring – does this represent a “dog eat dog” time where everyone has to worry about their own survival?
