“The sun shines down, and its image reflects in a thousand different pots filled with water. The reflections are many, but they are each reflecting the same sun. Similarly, when we come to know who we truly are, we will see ourselves in all people.”
It’s said that one becomes a true master only when one makes oneself of humble service. Sri Mata Amritanandamayi – affectionately called Amma – is one who truly embodies this, living a life close to what Mahayana Buddhists call the Bodhisattva path, a saint who gives of themselves selflessly for others.
Born in the Indian region of Kerala, she’s devoted her life to alleviating the pain of the poor, and those suffering physically and emotionally. Famous for her blessing or darshan, which takes the form of a loving hug, her Embracing the World global charities make a difference to thousands of lives annually.
Angela first met Amma in 2015 and has met her every year since. This year, Amma’s annual visit to the UK will take place at Sandown Park in Esher, Surrey on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th November.
If you want to improve your karma, do something for world peace and in support of charity and you’re interested in a Chinese astrology Ba Zi or Feng Shui reading, do come along, it would be great to meet you!
