Description
The High King Guan Yin Sutra, also called the High King Avalokitesvara Sutra or more simply the High King Sutra, is a easy and time tested method for improving one’s fortunes and eliminating bad karma.
In the past, it was most widely practiced during the Tang Dynasty of China, and that period is widely considered one of the happiest periods of Chinese history for the average person, with noticeably less wars, natural disasters and bad politics compared to other eras.
In recent times, it has surged in popularity primarily due to His Holiness Living Buddha Lian Sheng‘s wise advice that True Buddha School students around the world recite it daily. This has created a plethora of spiritual responses with many people stepping up to say that their circumstances did improve with regular recitations. And yet the High King Sutra is not a True Buddha School specific practice. Anyone can chant it, and there are even ancient copies of it and temples to the High King Guan Yin in Japan, Korea, from the Tangut empire and elsewhere.
By reciting it daily, many problems are warded off and those which are already existing are suppressed. Every time one reaches a thousand recitations, one’s heaviest and most heinous karma is released. One can recite it once a day, twice a day, three times or as many as one wishes. As long as one makes a recitation daily, the protection is topped up, like a mobile phone that is recharged. If a serious situation is going on, and one wishes to resolve the karma driving it quickly, one can say the sutra many times in a session, according to one’s time and energy. It quickly adds up and most people see the severity of their challenges reduce, with many people finding that just a single set of a thousand is enough to resolve it altogether. If the karma is very deep, it may take more, but having started to resolve it by correct and proper means, one will find there is constant protection.
In the context of Feng Shui, only those with good karma can readily find a good Feng Shui house because the house must match the resident. Regularly reciting the High King Sutra not only allows us to ward off the obstacles that might arise where we currently live, it also allows us to develop the purity needed to obtain a better place in the future.
