What is it?
The Bagua plaque with or without mirror is a traditional cure commonly used for protection from bad energy and also used for reducing the impact of negative energies coming towards a house or building. The Tiger with a knife in it's mouth is a hard to find type of Bagua Mirror imported especially for Rising Dragon Feng Shui from South East Asia. Most Bagua mirrors in England are red and green or yellow colour and may not fit in with the decor of the house. The black and gold finish colours of this type of bagua will be more discreet looking and fit in with modern houses.
How does it work?
The combination of a Tiger with a knife in its mouth with the sacred symbols of the Eight Trigrams or Bagua deflects the impact of negative energy that are angled towards your house.
If you have got any "Poison arrows" pointing at your front door then this is the cure for it. If you have got neighbours who are causing trouble, or jealous relatives who cause trouble, this is a traditional Feng Shui cure for deflecting "bad eyes" away from your house.
What if I live near a cemetery?
This Tiger Bagua is also used for deflecting bad energy away from your front door, (where you enter and bring in energy from the outside) if you live near a cemetery. How to check your house?
If you stand at your front door and look out is there:
- A road headed towards you (for instance you are at the end of a T-junction)?
- A tree, lampost, telegraph pole or other such obstacle that might cause the Chi flowing to the front door to be disturbed?
- A wall, edge of a building or other structure that points towards your front door?
The front door represents the mouth and in a house where there are any of the above forms (poison arrows) present the Chi arriving at the front door will be "sha chi" (killing energy).
Consequently those who live in such a house will find a higher rate of arguments and mishaps. The cure is to place a Bagua mirror on or above the door, so that it can deflect the negative energy before it enters the house. This Feng Shui Bagua comes with a hook at the top so all you need to do is put a nail above your front door or on the wall space that is on top of your front door. If you have got a porch, then you can also put it on top of the porch to deflect the "Poison arrows" or "Sha chi" coming towards your entrance.
What's the difference between a flat mirror bagua, convex or concave?
A convex mirror bagua is the strongest one for deflecting back whatever is in front of it. Most of the time a standard bagua mirror will do but sometimes something stronger is needed. A concave mirrorred bagua is used when you are wanting to absorb the object in front. A consultant will use this in certain situations. Beginner Feng Shui users won't normally use it unless they know how. Thats why standard bagua mirrors are most commonly used. A Tiger bagua is also considered a very strong bagua especially when you want to protect yourself from troublesome neighbours and troublesome relatives especially if they come to visit bringing all their gossip with them. When a bagua has the trigrams on it with the image of the Tiger and knife in its mouth, it will guard your house against the "bad eyes" of outsiders.
